Justicia floribunda bloeit met rood/oranjegele buisvormige bloemen en heeft een donkergroen leerachtig blad.
Het is een klein struikje voor de kamer maar kan in de zomer evengoed buiten op het terras staan, warm en goed beschut.
Overwinteren op een lichte plaats bij temperatuur tussen 5° en 12°C.
